The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has one of the best fertility preservation programs in pediatric oncology. Every adolescent boy or young man treated for cancer at CHOP is offered the option of sperm banking. In addition, testicular tissue cryopreservation is an option for some boys who haven't experienced puberty yet (as young as 1 year old). CHOP also offers fertility options for female cancer patients.
